Welcome to my personal website. Here you will find more information about me in regards to my current position, my resume, and ways of contacting me. 

I am a McMaster graduate student entering my second year of the M.Sc. eHealth program. I have taken various courses from the departments of business, computer science and health science. My interests stem from health care utilizing current forms of IT to increase operational efficiencies while yielding a return on investment. I strongly believe that IT can help us in our everyday lives, which is why I picked the field of eHealth. By combining my background with the education I receive from McMaster, I hope to move health care into the right direction. 

Currently I am on my internship with Saint Elizabeth Health Care as an EHR Implementation Consultant. I have been assigned to their electronic health record (EHR) project where they are hoping to implement EHRs to their mobile community nurses. I am working closely with nurses, applications leads, technical leads and senior management to help roll-out the first phase of its implementation. My job allows me to work closely with nurses by training them on using tablet technology for charting. I evaluate and create business processes to ensure the success of this pilot. I interface with the applications and technical leads to make sure the system is running without issue. I track the progress of the project and call meetings to address red alert concerns. I create evaluation strategies to collect feedback from the nurses and look for ways to improve the project by being aware of the various technologies in the marketplace to help us address future gaps.
